Anne-Renee Livingston grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and as a child discovered her creative side through painting in oils and watercolors. While receiving her BFA from Clemson University she expanded her knowledge of various artistic mediums becoming most drawn to ceramics and printmaking. After college she received her teaching certificate and taught art to K-12 for ten years. In 2006 she moved to Hampshire County after vacationing for several years in the community.

Anne-Renee continued to expand her artistic interests, studying stained glass techniques in 2002. Since then she has created numerous commissioned pieces. Corporate clients include Villanova University in Villanova, PA and Buddy’s Elliott Street Bar and Grill in Canton, MD. Anne-Renee enjoys working with clients especially designing with nature in mind.

“I like experimenting with glass”, says Anne-Renee adding fused glass and glassblowing to the techniques she is mastering. She now uses her ceramic kiln to melt glass into fused pieces of various sizes. During a studio visit, clients can easily learn to blow their own glass Christmas ornament.

In June of 2007 Anne-Renee's dream came true opening her own art studio, Glass House Studio. There, she, along with other local artists, teaches classes such as printmaking, stained glass, rughooking, drawing, painting and ceramics. A new schedule of classes is offered every three months.
